Todd & Associates, teamed with American Campus Communities, is providing site planning and design services for this 18 acre student housing community on UNM’s South Campus. The site will be occupied by 18 residential buildings clustered around individual courtyards, accommodating a total of 864 beds in 216 Units. Each of the apartment style units features four private bedrooms, each with a private bath, a common living room and kitchen with in-suite washers and dryers.
This student housing community will convey more of an apartment complex character targeting students who are seeking an alternative choice to traditional college dormitory living, an apartment off-campus or a house rental. On site amenities include a community center complete with workout facility, game room/lounge, swimming pool, and campus shuttle to provide students a sense of “home” and neighborhood atmosphere within their collegiate learning experience.
